From there, we can discuss the nature of your artwork in terms of size, medium, framed or unframed, and pricing. Once an agreement has been made, I will send you an invoice, a written agreement, and a rough timescale. Work will begin once the deposit has been received. When the artwork is finished, it will be either posted or delivered in person after receipt of the remaining balance.
Copyright: Artist retains all copyright of the produced artwork even after purchase. Ultimately this means that the customer has permission to share the work publicly and use it on display for private use but any reproduction of the work, especially reproductions that will be used for profit or commercial uses, is strictly prohibited unless approved by the artist in writing. Failing to do so is a crime and may result in legal action.
Sharing of Art: Social media sharing and other public sharing of artwork are vital for marketing purposes of the Artist. This includes, but is not limited to, artwork potentially being displayed on the artist’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, website, studio, brochures, web and print advertisements, and business documents. The Client consents to completed work, as well as reference photos, being used for these purposes unless specified.
Any commissioned artworks, purchased artworks, and paid deposits are non-refundable. However, within reason, a suitable agreement between the artist and client can be met if required.
